Roberta Belanger

Roberta is a singer, voice teacher, and choral director.  She directs both the N. K. Community Chorus and the Youth Chorus.  She received her Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance from the University of Rhode Island in 1985 and has enjoyed running her private voice studio and directing the chorus since then.  She also attended Westminster Choir College classes in Voice Pedagogy.  Roberta has served as an adjunct voice teacher at Salve Regina University. She has held several offices in the R. I. Chapter of The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), and is a member of the American Choral Director’s Association.  She began her directing career working with children's choirs, and has been soloist and/or choir director in many churches throughout Rhode Island.
